skopeo CLI reference

ModularPipelines.Skopeo provides strongly typed access to the skopeo CLI.

Executable prerequisite

This package does not install the skopeo executable. Install it separately and ensure skopeo is available on PATH.

Follow the executable's official documentation for installation instructions.

Package installation

dotnet add package ModularPipelines.Skopeo

Resolve the service with context.Tools.Skopeo. Projects using C# 13 or another .NET language can use context.Tools.Get<ModularPipelines.Skopeo.Services.ISkopeo>() instead.

Module example

Resolve the service in a module, then select a command from the table below. A runnable example is omitted when no command has complete safety metadata:

Global options

Global options are rendered before the selected subcommand.

--debug	Debug	All editions	enable debug output
--insecure-policy	InsecurePolicy	All editions	run the tool without any policy check
--override-arch	OverrideArch	All editions	use ARCH instead of the architecture of the machine for choosing images
--override-os	OverrideOs	All editions	use OS instead of the running OS for choosing images
--override-variant	OverrideVariant	All editions	use VARIANT instead of the running architecture variant for choosing images
--policy	Policy	All editions	Path to a trust policy file
--registries.d	RegistriesD	All editions	use registry configuration files in DIR (e.g. for container signature storage)
--tmpdir	Tmpdir	All editions	directory used to store temporary files
